H. Aihara, M. Iwasaki, and K. Tanabe (U. of Tokyo)

TL;DR
This paper presents a GEANT4-based simulation to analyze beam-induced backgrounds in the JLC beam delivery system, providing insights into background levels and their impact on collider performance.
Contribution
It introduces a comprehensive simulation program for studying backgrounds at JLC, which was not previously available.
Findings
Results show background levels in the beam delivery system.
Simulation helps in understanding background effects on detector performance.
Provides data for optimizing beam delivery and shielding.
Abstract
A full simulation program based on GEANT4 has been developed to study beam-induced backgrounds in the JLC beam delivery system. We report some results obtained using this program.
