Measurement of the $\Omega_c^0$ Lifetime
FOCUS collaboration : J.M.Link, et al

TL;DR
This paper reports a precise measurement of the $oxed{ ext{Omega}_c^0}$ baryon's lifetime using specific decay channels, significantly improving the accuracy of previous measurements and contributing valuable data to charm baryon studies.
Contribution
The study provides the first measurement of the $oxed{ ext{Omega}_c^0}$ lifetime with improved precision, using two decay channels and a novel analysis approach.
Findings
Measured $oxed{ ext{Omega}_c^0}$ lifetime as 72 ± 11 (stat.) ± 11 (sys.) fs.
Used two decay channels to enhance measurement accuracy.
Significantly improved the world average of the $oxed{ ext{Omega}_c^0}$ lifetime.
Abstract
The FOCUS experiment(FNAL-E831) has used two channels, and ,to measure the lifetime of the charmed baryon. From a sample of signal events at a mass of 2.698 GeV/, we measure an lifetime of (stat.) (sys.) fs, substantially improving upon the current world average.
