Experimental approaches to low x at HERA
Joerg Gayler (DESY)

TL;DR
This paper presents experimental data on jet and pi^0 meson production at low Bjorken x in HERA, comparing results with various QCD models to understand parton emissions in this regime.
Contribution
It provides new experimental measurements at low x and evaluates different QCD models' effectiveness in describing these phenomena.
Findings
Data show limited phase space for high p_t particles at low x.
Comparison reveals strengths and weaknesses of various QCD models.
Results inform understanding of parton emissions at small x.
Abstract
Data are presented on the production of jets and pi^0 mesons at low Bjorken x in a kinematic region where standard DGLAP evolution in Q^2 gives little phase space for high p_t particle and jet production. The data are compared with various QCD models based on different treatments of parton emissions at small x.
