G. Rakness (1) (for the STAR Collaboration) ((1)Indiana University, Cyclotron Facility)

TL;DR
This paper presents preliminary measurements of the analyzing power for forward pi0 meson production in polarized proton collisions at 200 GeV, showing similarities to lower energy results and expanding understanding of spin asymmetries.
Contribution
It provides new experimental data on analyzing powers at high energy, covering specific kinematic ranges, and compares these results with lower energy observations.
Findings
Analyzing power at 200 GeV is comparable to that at 20 GeV.
Data covers x_F=0.2-0.6 and p_T=1-3 GeV/c.
Results contribute to understanding spin asymmetries in proton collisions.
Abstract
Preliminary results of the analyzing power for the production of forward, high-energy pi0 mesons from collisions of transversely polarized protons at sqrt(s)=200 GeV from STAR are presented. The kinematic ranges covered by the data are x_F=0.2-0.6 and p_T=1-3 GeV/c. The analyzing power at sqrt(s)=200 GeV is found to be comparable to that observed at sqrt(s)=20 GeV.
