Stefan Kluth

TL;DR
This paper analyzes angular and momentum distributions of charged particles in e+e- annihilation, reanalyzing data from PETRA and OPAL to improve understanding of fragmentation functions in high-energy physics.
Contribution
It provides a comparative analysis of fragmentation functions using data from PETRA and LEP, incorporating reanalysis techniques to refine previous measurements.
Findings
Charged particle distributions align with QCD predictions
Reanalysis reduces uncertainties in fragmentation functions
Data from PETRA and LEP show consistent fragmentation patterns
Abstract
We present studies of the angular and momentum distributions of charged particles in hadronic final states of e+e- annihilation. Some results are derived from reanalysis of data of the JADE experiment operating at the PETRA e+e- collider at DESY from 1979 to 1986 while other data are from OPAL.
