Marta Calvi (for the DELPHI Collaboration)

TL;DR
This paper measures spectral moments in semileptonic b hadron decays using DELPHI data, providing insights into quark masses and b-quark kinetic energy, advancing understanding of heavy quark dynamics.
Contribution
It presents the first measurement of hadronic mass and lepton energy moments in semileptonic b decays at LEP, constraining quark masses and b-quark kinetic energy.
Findings
Spectral moments measured with DELPHI data
Constraints placed on quark masses
Insights into b-quark kinetic energy
Abstract
The measurement of the moments of hadronic mass spectrum and of lepton energy spectrum based on a sample of semileptonic decays of the b hadron selected from events recorded with the DELPHI detector at LEP, are presented. These results are interpreted in terms of constraints on the quark masses and on the b-quark kinetic energy value.
