Higher Twist, $\xi_w$ Scaling, and Effective $LO PDFs$ for Lepton Scattering in the Few GeV Region
A. Bodek, U. K. Yang

TL;DR
This paper introduces a new scaling variable and modifies leading order PDFs to accurately model lepton scattering across a wide energy range, including low and high energies.
Contribution
The authors develop a new scaling variable $\xi_w$ and incorporate low $Q^2$ modifications to GRV98 PDFs for improved modeling of lepton scattering data.
Findings
Successfully models electron, muon, and neutrino scattering cross sections at various energies.
Extends the applicability of leading order PDFs to low $Q^2$ and photoproduction regimes.
Provides a unified framework for scattering processes across energy scales.
Abstract
We use a new scaling variable , and add low modifications to GRV98 leading order parton distribution functions such that they can be used to model electron, muon and neutrino inelastic scattering cross sections (and also photoproduction) at both very low and high energies.
