QCD Studies at HERA
Ian C. Brock (Bonn University)

TL;DR
This paper reviews recent QCD research at HERA, including parton densities, alpha_S measurements, jet and heavy flavor production, and high Q^2 cross sections, with comparisons to NLO QCD predictions.
Contribution
It provides an overview of recent experimental results on QCD phenomena at HERA, highlighting advances in understanding parton distributions and strong coupling.
Findings
Parton density functions are well described by QCD.
Alpha_S determinations are consistent with previous measurements.
Jet and heavy flavor production data agree with NLO QCD predictions.
Abstract
I present a small selection of the many QCD studies that have been performed at HERA. I concentrate on results that have been made available in the past year. Results are presented on the QCD description of the parton density functions, determinations of alpha_S, jets and heavy flavour production. Where possible comparisons are made with next to leading order (NLO) QCD predictions. The neutral and charged current cross sections at very high Q^2 are also discussed.
