Study of Inclusive Production of Charmonium Mesons in B Decay
The BABAR Collaboration, B. Aubert, et al

TL;DR
This paper measures how often B mesons produce various charmonium mesons during decay, providing detailed data on their production rates and dependencies on momentum and helicity, using data from the BaBar experiment.
Contribution
It presents the first comprehensive measurement of inclusive charmonium production rates in B decays, including momentum and helicity distributions.
Findings
Measured branching fractions for $J/\psi$, $\psi(2S)$, $\chi_{c1}$, $\chi_{c2}$
Provided momentum-dependent production rates
Analyzed helicity distributions of $J/\psi$
Abstract
The inclusive production of charmonium mesons in B meson decay has been studied in a 20.3 fb data set collected by the BaBar experiment operating at the resonance. Branching fractions have been measured for the inclusive production of the charmonium mesons , , , and . The branching fractions are also presented as a function of the center-of-mass momentum of the mesons and of the helicity of the .
