Findings
Successful detection of b hadrons via semileptonic decay
Current detector performance aligns with expectations
Prospects for future B physics studies are promising
Abstract
The B physics program planned for the D0 Upgrade Detector for Run 2 of the Tevatron is described. Current performance of the detector pertinent to B physics is presented and compared to expectations. Detection of b hadrons through semileptonic decay and lifetime information is shown and some examples of prospects for the future given.
