B \to X_s \ell^+ \ell^- at Belle
K. Senyo (for the Belle Collaboration)

TL;DR
This paper reports the first evidence for the inclusive B to X_s l+ l- decay using Belle data, measuring its branching fraction and providing insights into flavor-changing neutral currents.
Contribution
It provides the first experimental evidence for the inclusive B to X_s l+ l- decay and measures its branching fraction using Belle data.
Findings
Evidence for B to X_s l+ l- decay with statistical significance.
Measured branching fraction: (7.1 +- 1.6 (stat.) + 1.4 - 1.2 (syst.)) x 10^-6.
Supports the study of flavor-changing neutral currents in B decays.
Abstract
Evidence for the inclusive decay has been presented based on 41.8 fb-1 data sample collected at the Y(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric e+e- collider. A preliminary result for the branching fraction is B() = (7.1 +- 1.6 (stat.) + 1.4 - 1.2(syst.)) \times 10^-6.
