Open Heavy Flavour Production at HERA
J. Kroseberg (for the H1 Collaboration, for the ZEUS Collaboration)

TL;DR
This paper reviews recent experimental results from ZEUS and H1 collaborations on open charm and beauty production at HERA, comparing measurements with QCD predictions to understand heavy flavor production mechanisms.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive overview of recent measurements of open heavy flavor production at HERA and compares them with theoretical QCD models.
Findings
Differential D* cross sections measured and analyzed.
Charm meson production ratios studied.
Semi-leptonic beauty decay results compared with predictions.
Abstract
Selected recent ZEUS and H1 results on open charm and beauty production in high energy ep collisions are reviewed. Measurements of differential D* cross sections, charm meson production ratios and semi-leptonic beauty decays are discussed and compared with QCD predictions.
