TL;DR
This paper reviews measurements of W-pair production and decay rates at LEP, supporting the standard electroweak model through data collected at energies from 161 to 209 GeV.
Contribution
It compiles and analyzes experimental data on W-pair production at LEP, confirming the predictions of the standard electroweak model.
Findings
W-pair production rates agree with Standard Model predictions
W decay rates measured are consistent with theoretical expectations
Data supports the electroweak sector of the Standard Model
Abstract
We review here the measurements of W-pair production and W decay rates performed by the four LEP experiments at ECM from 161 to 209 GeV, and their relevance in support of the standard electroweak model.
