TL;DR
The paper reports on the initial performance and data from the NEMO 3 detector, which aims to measure neutrinoless double beta decay with high sensitivity in an underground laboratory setting.
Contribution
It provides the first operational data and performance assessment of the NEMO 3 detector for neutrinoless double beta decay research.
Findings

Initial data shows promising performance
Sensitivity aims for 0.1 eV neutrino mass limit
Abstract
The NEMO collaboration is looking to measure neutrinoless double beta decay down to a lower limit of 0.1 eV for the effective neutrino mass. The NEMO 3 detector is now operating in the Frejus Underground Laboratory. The expected performance and the data of the first runs are presented here.
