Modeling Deep Inelastic Cross Sections in the Few GeV Region
A. Bodek, U. K. Yang

TL;DR
This paper introduces modifications to existing parton distribution functions to accurately model deep-inelastic scattering cross sections at low energies for electrons, muons, and neutrinos.
Contribution
It proposes simple corrections to GRV94 PDFs enabling their use in low-energy deep-inelastic scattering modeling.
Findings
Modified PDFs improve low-energy cross section predictions.
Corrections enable consistent modeling across different lepton types.
Preliminary results show promising agreement with experimental data.
Abstract
We present preliminary results on simple modifications and corrections to GRV94 leading order parton distribution functions such that they can be used to model electron, muon and neutrino deep-inelastic scattering cross sections at low energies.
