Measurement of the B0-anti-B0-Oscillation Frequency with Inclusive Dilepton Events
B. Aubert, et al. (BABAR Collaboration)

TL;DR
This paper reports a precise measurement of the B0-anti-B0 oscillation frequency using a large dataset of dilepton events from the BABAR experiment, providing key insights into B meson mixing.
Contribution
The study presents a new measurement of the B0-anti-B0 oscillation frequency with improved accuracy using inclusive dilepton events at BABAR.
Findings
Measured oscillation frequency: 0.493 ps^{-1}
Statistical uncertainty: 0.012 ps^{-1}
Systematic uncertainty: 0.009 ps^{-1}
Abstract
The - oscillation frequency has been measured with a sample of 23 million pairs collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric B Factory at SLAC. In this sample, we select events in which both B mesons decay semileptonically and use the charge of the leptons to identify the flavor of each B meson. A simultaneous fit to the decay time difference distributions for opposite- and same-sign dilepton events gives ps.
