Jet production in deep inelastic ep scattering at HERA and determination of alpha_s
C. Glasman (University of Glasgow, UK)

TL;DR
This paper reports recent measurements of jet cross sections in deep inelastic ep scattering at HERA and uses these results to determine the strong coupling constant, alpha_s, through QCD analyses.
Contribution
It provides new experimental data on jet production in ep scattering and offers an improved determination of alpha_s based on these measurements.
Findings
Jet cross sections measured in neutral-current and charged-current scattering.
QCD analyses yield a precise value of alpha_s.
Results support the validity of QCD in describing jet production.
Abstract
Recent measurements of jet cross sections in neutral-current and charged-current deep inelastic ep scattering are presented. The results of the QCD analyses on these measurements to determine the strong coupling constant are also reported.
