TL;DR
This paper summarizes recent results from the BABAR experiment, including measurements of CP violation, B mixing, lifetimes, and rare B decays, notably reporting the observation of CP violation in the neutral B system.
Contribution
It provides new experimental measurements of CP violation parameter $ ext{sin}2eta$ and other B meson properties using data from the BABAR detector.
Findings
Measured $ ext{sin}2eta = 0.59 \
Observed CP violation in the neutral B system.
Abstract
The BABAR experiment at the PEP-II asymmetric B factory at SLAC has collected a large sample of data at the resonance. I will summarize BABAR's new results on CP violation, B mixing and lifetimes, and a selection of rare B decays. In particular, I will describe in detail the measurement of the CP violating parameter ; BABAR has observed CP violation in the neutral B system finding .
