Measurement of Natural Widths of Sigma-c-0 and Sigma-c-++ Baryons
FOCUS Collaboration

TL;DR
This paper reports precise measurements of the natural decay widths of the Sigma_c^0 and Sigma_c^{++} baryons using data from the FOCUS experiment, providing valuable experimental data for theoretical models.
Contribution
First measurement of the natural widths of Sigma_c^0 and Sigma_c^{++} baryons using FOCUS data, with detailed statistical and systematic analysis.
Findings
Measured widths: Sigma_c^0 = 1.55 MeV/c^2, Sigma_c^{++} = 2.05 MeV/c^2
Results compared with recent theoretical predictions
Sample sizes: 913 Sigma_c^0 and 1110 Sigma_c^{++} decays
Abstract
In this paper we present a measurement of the natural widths of and . Using data from the FOCUS experiment, we find MeV/c^2 and MeV/c^2. The first errors are statistical, the second systematic. These results are obtained with a sample of 913 decays and 1110 decays. These results are compared with recent theoretical predictions. PACS numbers: 14.20.Lq 13.30Eg
