Charmless hadronic B decays at BABAR
Marcella Bona (for the BABAR Collaboration)

TL;DR
This paper reports preliminary measurements of branching fractions for charmless hadronic B meson decays into various final states, using data from the BABAR detector, including a specific measurement of B0 to rho pi decay and upper limits on other modes.
Contribution
First measurements of several charmless hadronic B decay branching fractions and asymmetries using BABAR data, including the B0 to rho pi decay mode.
Findings
Measured B0 to rho pi branching fraction: (28.9 ± 5.4 ± 4.3) × 10^{-6}
Set upper limits on B0 to rho0 pi0 and other decay modes
Provided asymmetry measurement for B0 to rho pi decay
Abstract
Using 22.7M BBbar events collected with the BABAR detector at SLAC, we present preliminary measurements of the branching fractions for charmless hadronic decays of B mesons into two-body, quasi two-body and three-body final states with pions, kaons, and rho and a0 resonances. In the search for exclusive , we measure , together with the relative asymmetry . We also set the upper limits on , non-resonant , and .
