Search for New Heavy Particles in the WZ Final State in Proton Anti-Proton Collisions at Sqrt{s} = 1.8 TeV
CDF Collaboration

TL;DR
This paper searches for new heavy particles decaying into WZ in proton-antiproton collisions at 1.8 TeV, setting limits on their mass and production rates, but finds no evidence of such particles.
Contribution
First search for heavy particles decaying to WZ in proton-antiproton collisions at this energy, providing constraints on extended gauge model predictions.
Findings
No evidence for new heavy particles was observed.
Limits were set on the mass and production cross-section of W' bosons.
Constraints depend on the width and mixing parameters of the hypothetical particles.
Abstract
We present a search for new heavy particles, , which decay via in collisions at TeV. No evidence is found for production of in 110 pb of data collected by the Collider Detector at Fermilab. Limits are set at the 95% C.L. on the mass and the production of new heavy charged vector bosons which decay via in extended gauge models as a function of the width, , and mixing factor between the and the Standard Model bosons.
