TL;DR
This paper reports the first observations and improved measurements of various Cabibbo-suppressed $\Lambda_c^+$ decays, providing new insights into charm baryon decay processes using data from the Belle detector.
Contribution
It presents the first observations of $\Lambda_c^+$ decays to $\Lambda^0 K^+$ and $\Sigma^0 K^+$, and provides improved measurements for several other decay modes.
Findings
First observation of $\Lambda_c^+ o \Lambda^0 K^+$ and $\Lambda_c^+ o \Sigma^0 K^+$ decays.
Large statistics observation of $\Lambda_c^+ o \Sigma^+ K^+\pi^-$ decay.
Improved branching ratio measurements for $\Lambda_c^+ o \Sigma^0 K^+ K^-$ and $\Lambda_c^+ o \Sigma^0 \phi$ decays.
Abstract
We present measurements of the Cabibbo-suppressed decays and (both first observations), (seen with large statistics for the first time), and (measured with improved accuracy). Improved branching ratio measurements for the decays and , which are attributed to W-exchange diagrams, are shown. We also present the first evidence for and set an upper limit on non-resonant decay. This analysis was performed using 23.6 fb of data collected by the Belle detector at the asymmetric collider KEKB.
