Study of T and CP violation in B^0-anti-B^0 mixing with inclusive dilepton events
B. Aubert, et al. (the BABAR Collaboration)

TL;DR
This paper investigates T and CP violation in B0-anti-B0 mixing using inclusive dilepton events from the BABAR experiment, providing measurements that test fundamental symmetries in particle physics.
Contribution
It presents the first measurement of T and CP violation parameters in B0 mixing using inclusive dilepton events at BABAR, with results consistent with no violation.
Findings
Measured same-sign dilepton asymmetry of (0.5 ± 1.2 ± 1.4)%
Obtained a preliminary value for Re(ε_b) of (1.2 ± 2.9 ± 3.6) × 10^{-3}
Results are consistent with no T or CP violation in B0 mixing.
Abstract
We report a study of T and CP violation in - mixing using an inclusive dilepton sample collected by the BABAR experiment at the PEP-II Factory. The asymmetry between and allows us to compare the probabilities for and oscillations and thus probe T and CP invariance. A sample of 20,381 same-sign dilepton events is selected in the 1999--2000 data sample, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 20.7 fb on the resonance. We measure a same-sign dilepton asymmetry of ; for the parameter representing T and CP violations in mixing, we obtain a preliminary result of
