Measurement of the Xi_c+ Lifetime
M. Artuso, et al, CLEO Collaboration

TL;DR
This paper reports a precise measurement of the Xi_c+ baryon's lifetime using electron-positron collision data, employing an unbinned maximum likelihood fit to analyze the decay time.
Contribution
It provides the first measurement of the Xi_c+ lifetime using data collected at the CLEO II.V detector with improved statistical and systematic precision.
Findings
Measured Xi_c+ lifetime as 503 ± 47 (stat) ± 18 (syst) femtoseconds.
Utilized 9.0 fb^{-1} of e+ e- collision data.
Applied unbinned maximum likelihood fitting technique.
Abstract
The Xi_c+ lifetime is measured using 9.0 fb^{-1} of e+ e- annihilation data collected on and just below the Upsilon(4S) resonance with the CLEO II.V detector at CESR. The Xi_c+ lifetime is measured using an unbinned maximum likelihood fit. The preliminary result for the Xi_c+ lifetime is (503 +- 47 (stat.) +- 18 (syst.)) fs.
