Search for Leptoquark Pairs Decaying to nu-nu + jets in P Anti-P Collisions at s**1/2=1.8 TeV
V. M. Abazov, et al. (D0 Collaboration)

TL;DR
This study searches for pair-produced leptoquarks decaying to neutrinos and jets in proton-antiproton collisions at 1.8 TeV, setting mass limits based on collider data with no evidence of their existence.
Contribution
First to set experimental mass limits on scalar and vector leptoquarks decaying to neutrinos and jets at the Fermilab Tevatron.
Findings
No evidence for leptoquark production in the data.
Excluded scalar leptoquarks below 99 GeV/c^2.
Excluded vector leptoquarks below 178 GeV/c^2.
Abstract
We present the preliminary results of a search for leptoquark () pairs using (85.2 3.7) pb of collider data collected by the DO experiment at the Fermilab Tevatron from 1994-1996. We observe no evidence for leptoquark production and set a limit on as a function of the mass of the leptoquark (), assuming BR()=100%. At the 95% confidence level, we exclude scalar leptoquarks for , and vector leptoquarks for .
