New results in diffractive production from E687 at FNAL
A. Zallo (for the E687 Collaboration)

TL;DR
The paper reports new experimental observations of narrow dip structures at 1.9 GeV/c² in diffractive photoproduction, along with preliminary findings of new structures in other final states, advancing understanding of diffractive processes.
Contribution
It presents novel experimental results on diffractive production, revealing previously unobserved structures in specific final states at Fermilab E687.
Findings
Narrow dip at 1.9 GeV/c² in 3π+3π− final state
Preliminary structures observed in 2π+2π− final state
Enhanced understanding of diffractive photoproduction mechanisms
Abstract
A narrow dip structure has been observed at 1.9 GeV/c in a study of diffractive photoproduction of the final state performed by the Fermilab experiment E687. Preliminary results on new structures in final states are also given.
