Haiming Hu (IHEP, Beijing), An Tai (UCLA)

TL;DR
This paper discusses the development of the LUARLW Monte Carlo generator based on the Lund area law, demonstrating its effectiveness in simulating intermediate energy production processes and matching experimental data.
Contribution
The paper introduces the LUARLW generator based on the Lund area law and validates its accuracy against experimental data from BEPC/BES between 2 and 5 GeV.
Findings
LUARLW simulations agree well with experimental data
The generator accurately models production at intermediate energies
The Lund area law is effective in Monte Carlo simulations
Abstract
The Lund area law was developed into a Monte Carlo program LUARLW. The important ingredients of this generator was described. It was found that the LUARLW simulations are in good agreement with the BEPC/BES R scan data between 2--5 GeV.
