Search for the Decay B+ -> D*+ K0_S
A. Gritsan, et al,. CLEO Collaboration

TL;DR
This paper reports a search for the rare decay B+ -> D*+ K0_S using CLEO data, finding no candidates and setting an upper limit on its branching fraction.
Contribution
The study provides the first upper limit on the branching fraction of B+ -> D*+ K0_S decay, improving constraints on this process.
Findings
No candidates observed in 9.10/fb of data.
Upper limit on BF(B+ -> D*+ K0_S) set at 9.5 x 10^{-5}.
Background estimated at 0.29 +- 0.05.
Abstract
We report on a search for the decay B+ -> D*+ K0_S and its charge conjugate with the CLEO detector at the Cornell Electron Storage Ring (CESR). No candidates are found in 9.10/fb of data. The background is estimated to be 0.29 +- 0.05 leading to an upper limit BF(B+ -> D*+ K0_S) = 9.5 x 10^{-5} (90% C.L.).
