FOCUS collaboration: J. M. Link, et al

TL;DR
This paper measures branching ratios of specific four-body hadronic decays of D+ and D+s mesons involving K_S, providing new decay mode observations and precise ratio measurements using Fermilab data.
Contribution
It reports the first observation of three new decay modes and provides precise measurements of their branching ratios relative to known decays.
Findings
New branching ratio for D+ to K_S K- pi+ pi+
First observation of three new decay modes involving K_S
Branching ratios with statistical and systematic uncertainties
Abstract
We have studied hadronic four-body decays of and mesons with a in the final state using data recorded during the 1996-1997 fixed-target run at Fermilab high energy photoproduction experiment FOCUS. We report a new branching ratio measurement of . We make the first observation of three new decay modes with branching ratios , , and , where in each case the first error is statistical and the second error is systematic.
