Studies of b-quark fragmentation
V. Ciulli (Scuola Normale Superiore, Pisa)

TL;DR
This paper reviews recent experimental studies on b-quark fragmentation at the Z peak, highlighting improved measurement techniques and their implications for understanding fragmentation models.
Contribution
It presents new measurements of b-hadron energy distributions and enhanced methods to differentiate between fragmentation models.
Findings
Improved sensitivity in distinguishing fragmentation models.
More accurate measurements of mean b-hadron scaled energy.
Enhanced experimental techniques at the Z peak.
Abstract
I will review new studies of b-quark fragmentation performed at the Z peak by ALEPH and SLD. An improved sensitivity to distinguish between fragmentation model and more accurate measurements of the mean b-hadron scaled energy have been obtained.
