Search for $B^{0}\to \pi^{0}\pi^{0}$ Decay
D.M. Asner, et al, CLEO Collaboration

TL;DR
This paper reports a search for the rare decay of B0 mesons into two neutral pions, setting an improved upper limit on its branching fraction based on data from the CLEO detector.
Contribution
It provides the most stringent upper limit to date on the branching fraction of B0 to pi0 pi0 decay.
Findings
Upper limit on BR(B0→pi0pi0) < 5.7×10^-6 at 90% CL
Utilized 9.13 fb^-1 data at Upsilon(4S)
Enhanced previous constraints on this decay mode
Abstract
We have searched for the charmless hadronic decay of B0 mesons into two neutral pions. Using 9.13fb^-1 taken at the Upsilon(4S) with the CLEO detector, we obtain an improved upper limit for the branching fraction BR(B0-->pi0pi0) < 5.7*10^-6 at the 90% confidence level.
