A Search for Charmless $B\to VV$ Decays
R. Godang, et al, CLEO Collaboration

TL;DR
This study searches for rare charmless two-body $B$ meson decays into vector mesons, setting upper limits on their branching fractions using data from the CLEO detector, contributing to understanding of $B$ decay processes.
Contribution
First to set experimental upper limits on several charmless $B o VV$ decay modes with charged particles using CLEO data.
Findings
Placed 90% confidence level upper limits on branching fractions.
No significant signals observed for the decay modes.
Limits range from $0.46$ to $7.0 imes 10^{-5}$.
Abstract
We have studied two-body charmless decays of the meson into the final states , , , , , , and using only decay modes with charged daughter particles. Using 9.7 million pairs collected with the CLEO detector, we place 90% confidence level upper limits on the branching fractions, , depending on final state and polarization.
