TL;DR
This paper discusses colour reconnection effects in hadronic WW decays at LEP2, presenting measurement methods and experimental results from four LEP collaborations to understand its impact on W-boson mass measurements.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive overview of measurement techniques and experimental findings on colour reconnection at LEP2, highlighting its significance as a systematic uncertainty.
Findings
Colour reconnection effects observed at LEP2 energies.
Measurement methods developed for quantifying the effect.
Results from four LEP experiments across different energies.
Abstract
Colour reconnection is the final state interaction between quarks from different sources. It is not yet fully understood and is a source of systematic error for W-boson mass and width measurements in hadronic \WW decays at LEP2. The methods of measuring this effect and the results of the 4 LEP experiments at will be presented.
