Dalitz Analysis of the Decay $D^{0}\to K^{-}\pi^{+}\pi^{0}$
S. Kopp, et al, CLEO Collaboration

TL;DR
This paper performs a detailed Dalitz plot analysis of the decay D0 to K- pi+ pi0, identifying key resonant contributions and measuring CP asymmetry with high statistical precision.
Contribution
It provides the first high-statistics measurement of the resonant substructure in D0 to K- pi+ pi0 decays, including amplitudes, phases, and CP asymmetry.
Findings
Dalitz plot well described by seven quasi-two-body decay channels
Measured CP asymmetry of -0.031 ± 0.086
Identified small non-resonant component
Abstract
We use data collected with the CLEO II detector to perform a high-statistics measurement of the resonant substructure in decays. We find the Dalitz Plot is well represented by a combination of seven quasi-two-body decay channels (, , , , , , and ), plus a small non-resonant component. Using the amplitudes and phases from this analysis, we calculate an integrated CP asymmetry of .
