TL;DR
This paper reports on the first measurement of the form-factor in semi-leptonic decay of neutral Xi hyperons, analysis of weak radiative decays, and a search for the H-dibaryon using data from the KTeV experiment at Fermilab.
Contribution
It presents the first form-factor measurement of the semi-leptonic decay of neutral Xi hyperons and searches for the H-dibaryon, advancing understanding of hyperon decays and exotic states.
Findings
First form-factor measurement of neutral Xi semi-leptonic decay
Analysis of neutral Xi weak radiative decays
Search for H-dibaryon decay
Abstract
Results from the KTeV experiment at Fermilab using neutral Xi hyperons are presented, especially the first form-factor (FF) measurement from its semi-leptonic decay. This decay, which is an important test of the Standard Model, was observed for the first time using the 1997 KTeV experiment. We also report on the analysis of a large samples of neutral Xi weak radiative decays, and a search for the decay of a lightly bound dibaryon.
