Shahram Rahatlou (for the BABAR Collaboration)

TL;DR
This paper reports a measurement of B0-anti-B0 oscillation frequency using full reconstructed B mesons in data from the BABAR detector, providing insights into flavor oscillations in particle physics.
Contribution
It presents a new measurement of the B0-anti-B0 oscillation frequency using a full reconstruction technique with BABAR data, improving precision over previous results.
Findings
Measured oscillation frequency Delta_md = 0.512 +/- 0.017 +/- 0.022 hbar ps^{-1}
Demonstrated the effectiveness of full reconstruction in flavor oscillation studies
Provided preliminary results consistent with Standard Model predictions
Abstract
Time-dependent B0-anti-B0 flavor oscillations are studied in e+e- annihilation data collected with the BABAR detector at center-of-mass energies near the Upsilon(4S) resonance. We report a preliminary result for the time-dependent B0-anti-B0 oscillation frequency, Delta_md = 0.512 +/- 0.017 +/- 0.022 hbar ps^{-1}.
