Latest Results on Weak Semi-Leptonic Hyperon Decays in KTeV
Nickolas Solomey (Univ. of Chicago)

TL;DR
This paper reports on the final measurements of semi-leptonic hyperon decays from the KTeV experiment, including updated branching ratios and form factors, with new data promising further precision improvements.
Contribution
It provides the final results for hyperon decay parameters from the 1997 data and discusses preliminary findings from a more extensive 1999 dataset.
Findings
Final branching ratio measurements for $\, ext{Xi}^0$ semi-leptonic decays.
Updated form factors consistent with previous results.
Preliminary data from 1999 indicates potential for improved accuracy.
Abstract
The KTeV experiment at Fermilab has finished its semi-leptonic decay analysis from the 1997 run and presented here are the final numbers for the branching ratio and form factors. A new run with three times the statistics was taken in 1999 and a first look at the data shows the quality and consistency of the results, predicting a similar improvement in these measurements.
