Observation of the $\Omega_{c}^{0}$ Charmed Baryon at CLEO
D. Cronin-Hennessy, et al, CLEO Collaboration

TL;DR
This paper reports the first observation of the $oldsymbol{ ext{Omega}_c^0}$ charmed baryon at CLEO, using 13.7 fb$^{-1}$ of data, identifying a significant signal at around 2695 MeV/$c^2$ across multiple decay modes.
Contribution
The study provides the first experimental evidence of the $ ext{Omega}_c^0$ baryon in $e^{+}e^{-}$ collisions, measuring its mass and observing it in several decay channels.
Findings
Observed a signal of 40.4±9.0 events.
Measured the $ ext{Omega}_c^0$ mass as 2694.6±2.6(stat)±1.9(syst) MeV/$c^2$.
Confirmed the existence of the $ ext{Omega}_c^0$ baryon.
Abstract
The CLEO experiment at the CESR collider has used 13.7 fb of data to search for the production of the (css-ground state) in collisions at {\rm GeV}. The modes used to study the are , , , , and . We observe a signal of 40.49.0(stat) events at a mass of 2694.62.6(stat)1.9(syst) {\rm MeV/}, for all modes combined.
