Jet Substructure at HERA
Claudia Glasman (University of Glasgow, representing the ZEUS, Collaboration)

TL;DR
This paper presents measurements of jet shapes and subjet multiplicities in photoproduction at HERA, comparing results with Monte Carlo models to understand the dynamics of subprocesses and differences between gluon- and quark-initiated jets.
Contribution
It provides experimental data on jet substructure at HERA and evaluates Monte Carlo models against these measurements, highlighting differences in gluon and quark jet characteristics.
Findings
Measured jet shapes and subjet multiplicities in photoproduction.
Compared experimental results with Monte Carlo predictions.
Identified differences between gluon- and quark-initiated jets.
Abstract
Measurements of jet shapes and subjet multiplicities in photoproduction performed by ZEUS are presented and compared to leading-logarithm parton-shower Monte Carlo models. The predicted differences on the size of gluon- and quark-initiated jets are used to select samples to study the dynamics of the subprocesses.
