CLEO Results on Heavy Meson Mixing
Harry N. Nelson (UCSB)

TL;DR
This paper presents recent CLEO experimental results on D0-D0bar and B0d-B0bar meson mixing, providing limits and measurements that contribute to understanding CP violation and meson oscillations.
Contribution
It reports new experimental limits on D0 mixing amplitude and precise measurements of B0d mixing parameters, with projections for future sensitivity improvements.
Findings
D0 mixing amplitude x'<2.9% at 95% C.L.
B0d mixing parameter chi=0.198±0.013±0.014.
Projections for future sensitivity to D0-D0bar mixing and sin(2*beta+gamma).
Abstract
We discuss recent CLEO results on D0-D0bar and B0d-B0dbar mixing. The principal results are that for the D0 system, allowing for CP violations, the mixing amplitude x'<2.9% (95% C.L.), and for the B0d system, chi=0.198+-0.013+-0.014. We make projections for future sensistivity to D0-D0bar mixing, and to sin(2*beta+gamma).
