Bose-Einstein Correlations in W-pair evets at LEP
A. Valassi (CERN)

TL;DR
This paper reviews measurements of Bose-Einstein correlations in W-pair events at LEP, focusing on whether correlations exist between pions from different W bosons, with mixed experimental results.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive overview of experimental results on Bose-Einstein correlations in W-pair production at LEP energies, highlighting the lack of consensus among experiments.
Findings
No agreement among experiments on Bose-Einstein correlations between different W's
Data collected at energies between 172 and 202 GeV
Focus on pion correlations in W-pair events
Abstract
An overview of measurements of Bose-Einstein correlations in W-pair events at LEP is given. The results presented are based on data collected at centre-of-mass energies between 172 and 202GeV. The review concentrates on the search for Bose-Einstein correlations between pions from different W's in e+e- -> W+W- -> qqbarqqbar events. No agreement is reached in the results of the four experiments.
