Lepton Flavour Violation at HERA
R. Kerger (Bonn University, for the H1, ZEUS collaborations)

TL;DR
This paper analyzes HERA data from ZEUS and H1 detectors to search for lepton flavour violation mediated by leptoquarks, finding no evidence but setting new limits on their couplings.
Contribution
First comprehensive search for lepton flavour violation at HERA using combined data from ZEUS and H1, establishing new constraints on leptoquark models.
Findings
No evidence of lepton flavour violation observed.
Limits on leptoquark Yukawa couplings are improved.
Constraints apply to muon and tau channels.
Abstract
The -data collected with the ZEUS ( pb) and the H1 ( pb) detectors at HERA in 1994--1997 are analysed for signals of lepton flavour violation mediated by leptoquark exchange, both in the muon and the tau channels. No evidence for lepton flavour violation is found and limits on the leptoquarks' Yukawa couplings are set.
