Color reconnection and Bose-Einstein correlations at LEP2
Th. Ziegler

TL;DR
This paper reviews LEP2 data on W+W- events to study final state interactions, specifically color reconnection and Bose-Einstein correlations, to understand their effects in high-energy electron-positron collisions.
Contribution
It provides an analysis of LEP2 data to investigate the presence and characteristics of color reconnection and Bose-Einstein correlations in W boson pair production.
Findings
No definitive evidence of color reconnection found.
Bose-Einstein correlations observed between decay products.
Implications for modeling hadronization in W pair events.
Abstract
Recent investigations of final state interactions of W+W- events in e+e- collisions up to center of mass energies sqrt{S}=189GeV at LEP2 are reviewed. The data were used to look for color reconnection and Bose-Einstein correlations between the two color singlets of fully hadronic W events.
