TL;DR
This paper explores monopole and dyon solutions within Einstein-Yang-Mills theory in asymptotically AdS space, identifying stable monopole configurations and analyzing their properties.
Contribution
It introduces a class of stable monopole solutions in Einstein-Yang-Mills theory in asymptotically AdS space, expanding understanding of their stability and structure.
Findings
Stable monopole solutions identified
Monopoles are stable against spherically symmetric perturbations
Dyon solutions discussed in the context of Einstein-Yang-Mills theory
Abstract
Regular monopole and dyon solutions to the SU(2) Einstein Yang-Mills equations in asymptotically anti-de Sitter space are discussed. A class of monopole solutions are shown to be stable against spherically symmetric linear perturbations.
