Takashi Tamaki, Takashi Torii, Kei-ichi Maeda

TL;DR
This paper explores monopole and black hole solutions within Brans-Dicke theory, analyzing their properties in the Einstein frame and comparing them to solutions in general relativity.
Contribution
It presents new self-gravitating monopole and black hole solutions in Brans-Dicke theory and compares their properties with those in general relativity.
Findings
Solutions exhibit distinct properties in the Einstein frame.
Comparison reveals differences from general relativity solutions.
Provides insights into scalar-tensor gravity effects.
Abstract
We find a self-gravitating monopole and its black hole solution in Brans-Dicke theory. We mainly discuss the properties of these solutions in the Einstein frame and compare the solutions with those in general relativity.
