Remark on the strength of singularities with a C^0 metric
Amos Ori

TL;DR
This paper discusses a specific spacetime with a C^0 metric that contains a spacelike curvature singularity, demonstrating that the singularity is weak despite previous assumptions of strength.
Contribution
It proves that a previously constructed spacetime with a C^0 metric and a curvature singularity actually features a weak singularity, challenging prior expectations.
Findings
The singularity is weak despite being curvature singular.
The spacetime admits a regular C^0 metric.
The result revises understanding of singularity strength in such spacetimes.
Abstract
Recently Nolan constructed a spherically-symmetric spacetime admitting a spacelike curvature singularity with a regular C^0 metric. We show here that this singularity is in fact weak.
