TL;DR
This paper proposes a new approach for constructing accurate signal models to improve the detection of gravitational waves from inspiralling compact binaries in noisy data.
Contribution
It introduces a novel method for building faithful gravitational wave templates, enhancing detection reliability.
Findings
New template construction method improves signal fidelity.
Enhanced detection accuracy for inspiralling binaries.
Potential for better gravitational wave data analysis.
Abstract
Gravitational waves from inspiralling compact binaries can be reliably extracted from a noisy detector output only if the template used in the detection is a faithful representation of the true signal. In this article we suggest a new approach to constructing faithful signal models.
