Third Quantization of Kaluza-Klein Cosmology and Compactification
Yoshiaki Ohkuwa

TL;DR
This paper explores the third quantization of a Kaluza-Klein cosmological model, analyzing universe creation and the statistical explanation of compactification through a novel quantum framework.
Contribution
It introduces a third quantization approach to a Kaluza-Klein model, linking universe creation and compactification to quantum statistical processes.
Findings
Calculated the number density of universes created from nothing
Provided a statistical explanation for compactification
Demonstrated the applicability of third quantization to Kaluza-Klein cosmology
Abstract
We study on the third quantization of a Kaluza-Klein toy model. In this model time () is defined by the scale factor of universe, and the space coordinate () is defined by the ratio of the scales of the ordinary space and the internal space. We calculate the number density of the universes created from nothing and examine whether the compactification can be explained statistically by the idea of the third quantization.
