TL;DR
This paper investigates the evaporation process of 2D black holes in thermal equilibrium and introduces global symmetries in 2D dilaton gravity models, extending known symmetries of the CGHS model.
Contribution
It presents a study of black hole evaporation in 2D models and generalizes symmetries beyond the CGHS model.
Findings
Analysis of black hole evaporation when ingoing radiation stops
Introduction of new global symmetries in 2D dilaton gravity models
Extension of the symmetry structure of the CGHS model
Abstract
We study the evaporation process of a 2D black hole in thermal equilibrium when the ingoing radiation is switched off suddenly. We also introduce global symmetries of generic 2D dilaton gravity models which generalize the extra symmetry of the CGHS model.
