Carlos Pinheiro, Gentil O. Pires, N. Tomimura

TL;DR
This paper introduces a 3D massive gravity model combining topological Chern-Simons and Proca mass terms, analyzing its causality, unitarity, and renormalizability properties.
Contribution
It proposes a novel 3D massive gravity framework with combined mass mechanisms and discusses its fundamental theoretical properties.
Findings
Causality and unitarity are maintained at tree-level.
The model's power-counting renormalizability is considered.
The interplay of Chern-Simons and Proca masses is analyzed.
Abstract
We present a 3-dimensional model for massive gravity with masses induced by topological (Chern-Simons) and Proca-like mass terms. Causality and unitarity are discussed at tree-level. Power-counting renormalizability is also contemplated.
